Karaksa Hotel Sapporo Onsen Reviews Breakfast Best Accommodation

Traveling teaches us how much the condition of accommodation affects the entire trip.
Even if the day’s itinerary was enjoyable, staying in a poorly decorated or worn-out hotel can shatter the joy of the day.

Today, I’m reviewing the Karaksa Hotel Sapporo, which left a lasting impression on me with its modernity during my trip to Sapporo last year.

Location of Karaksa Hotel Sapporo

The location is superb, just to the left of Sapporo’s Susukino Station, a mere 4-minute walk from Exit 2.
Its proximity is outstanding, allowing easy access to explore.
Right across the street is the Norbesa shopping mall, perfect for a quick browse.

Adjacent to it is the Mega Don Quijote Sapporo branch, making shopping convenient, almost like having a large supermarket right at your doorstep.
Moreover, it’s connected to the Tanukikoji shopping street at the back.
With Lawson convenience stores and Seven-Eleven scattered around, the central location in the downtown area truly adds to the appeal!

Check-in time: 3:00 PM Check-out time: 11:00 AM

Karaksa Hotel Sapporo is a 3-star business hotel in Sapporo that left me with fond memories due to its cleanliness and excellent service.

Despite being categorized as a 3-star hotel, the front interior was exceptionally clean and neat!
The check-in process was incredibly convenient with Korean staff available, and the other Japanese staff members were also friendly.
Such service is usually hard to come by in smaller hotels in sapporo.

Karaksa Hotel Sapporo Twin Room

Let’s take a look at the twin room in Karaksa Hotel Sapporo.
First off, the room doesn’t have carpet flooring, which is perfect for those with allergies or sensitivity to air quality.
My wife, who is sensitive to dust, especially appreciated the wood floor composition!

The space underneath the beds is quite spacious, allowing ample room to unfold luggage and comfortably accommodate two people.
Although the room windows are small, if you’re assigned to an upper floor, the view of the surrounding buildings and skyline of Sapporo is quite satisfying, making it worth the value.

The bathroom features a separate sink area and toilet area, providing a sense of separation and cleanliness.
The shower area is located inside with a chair, making daily showers incredibly comfortable.
On the second floor, there’s a large Onsen area and lounge area in Karaksa Hotel Sapporo!

As you may know, Sapporo trips, whether through Via Tours or self-exploration, often involve a lot of walking and photo-taking.
Therefore, especially after a day of touring, there’s no better place to unwind than a large Inhouse Onsen!

On the second floor, amenities like massage chairs, simple snacks, ice cream, japanese comic books, and traditional Japanese tables are available for guests to enjoy with free of charge, making it a wonderful retreat.

Karaksa Hotel Sapporo Breakfast

At Karaksa Hotel Sapporo, breakfast is typically served in buffet style.
One memorable aspect for me was the opportunity to make simple seafood rice bowls—a highlight indeed! All kind of tempura was delicious as well.

I particularly enjoyed the miso soup with crab and the seafood-based broth that felt like it was simmered together.
Overall, the breakfast menu was more focused on satisfying taste buds rather than offering a wide variety of dishes, which I found quite satisfying.
The price was also reasonable, adding to my overall satisfaction with the experience.
