Discovering the Hidden Gem of Chatrium Riverside Bangkok Shuttle Amenities Breakfast Buffet

During my recent trip to Bangkok, I had the pleasure of staying at Chatrium Riverside Bangkok—a hotel that not only met but exceeded my expectations.
Nestled on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, this luxurious riverside resort offers unparalleled views and a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Adjacent to the Four Seasons Riverside, this hotel isn’t directly connected to the subway, so I recommend taking a taxi for your convenience.
Nearby, you’ll find the famous Asiatique shopping mall just a 15-minute walk south, and the BTS Saphan Taksin Station, a mere 10-minute taxi ride north, connecting you to the rest of Bangkok via the river.

A Warm Welcome: Check-In and First Impressions

Chatrium Riverside Bangkok comprises three towers, though only one—closest to the river—is designated for hotel guests.
The other two towers serve as exclusive residences for Bangkok’s elite.

From the moment we arrived, the staff provided an impeccable level of service, making us feel truly welcomed.
The lobby is an elegant space, featuring a dessert café perfect for afternoon tea or a refreshing drink.
Just beyond the lobby lies the hotel’s breakfast restaurant, where we enjoyed leisurely mornings sipping lattes and taking in the garden views through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Seamless Connectivity: Shuttle Services

One of the highlights of Chatrium Riverside Bangkok is its private shuttle boat service, which ferries guests to Iconsiam and BTS Saphan Taksin Station.
Unfortunately, during our stay, the boat was undergoing maintenance, but the hotel thoughtfully provided a shuttle van that ran every 30 minutes from 9 AM to 7 PM, ensuring that our travel plans were unaffected.

Spacious Luxury: Chatrium Riverside Bangkok Suite Experience

When we booked our stay, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect, but the moment we stepped into our suite, we were utterly amazed.
Designed originally as a residence, the suite was expansive—large enough to host a small gathering, if you wished.

Although we weren’t celebrating any special occasion, the hotel surprised us with a rose petal arrangement, adding a romantic touch to our stay.
The suite featured a fully equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop and oven, both of which worked perfectly.

The smart TV was a hit with our child, though the lack of YouTube access was a minor disappointment. The work area was generously sized, providing plenty of space for both relaxation and productivity.
And of course, the Nespresso machine, with its daily replenishment of capsules, was a welcome luxury.
One of the most delightful surprises was the glass jar filled with a crispy, sweet treat that we couldn’t identify but absolutely loved.
Despite our efforts to find it elsewhere in Bangkok, it remained an exclusive pleasure of our stay.

Complimentary Delights: Mini-Bar and Amenities

The mini-bar at Chatrium Riverside Bangkok was a game-changer, offering a selection of complimentary beverages—a rarity in 5-star hotels.
Stocked with all my favorite drinks, it was a refreshing change from the usual overpriced mini-bar fare.

The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a large, beautifully lit bathtub that created the perfect ambiance for a relaxing soak.
The hotel’s choice of amenities—Panpuri, Thailand’s premier luxury brand—added an extra layer of sophistication to our experience.

Chatrium Riverside Bangkok Pool : A View to Remember

The hotel’s pool, located on the 6th floor, offers stunning panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River.
Stretching approximately 50 meters, the pool is lined with artistic sculptures that enhance the serene atmosphere.

Although the water was a bit chilly due to the lack of heating, it was crystal clear, and we quickly acclimated.
For those visiting during the warmer months of April to July, the pool should offer the perfect temperature for a refreshing swim.

A Culinary Feast: Chatrium Riverside Bangkok Breakfast Buffet Extravaganza

Breakfast at Chatrium Riverside Bangkok is an event in itself, with a buffet offering an extensive variety of dishes.
The made-to-order spaghetti and Eggs Benedict were standouts, and I was particularly delighted to indulge in patonggo (Thai donuts) after a long hiatus.

The pastry and bread station was incredibly expansive, offering more varieties than you could possibly try in one sitting.
The kuaitiao (noodle soup) was also a memorable highlight.

There’s a popular saying that if you don’t create your own dream, someone else will hire you to help build theirs.
Often, we find ourselves stuck in a cycle of inaction, hesitating to press that “Go” button.
But the real winners are those who take the plunge and embark on their own adventures.
Travel, after all, is always a victory.
