Pattaya Walking Street’s nightlife and club location & bargirls life

Hello, this is Male. Lately, many people have been traveling to Pattaya
When you visit Pattaya, one place that piques curiosity is the famous Walking Street, known for its vibrant nightlife.
Of course, I won’t delve into explicit details here, but having lived in Thailand and explored Walking Street through local friends, I’d like to share some insights into its night activities.

Pattaya Walking Street’s Location

Pattaya Walking Street is situated near Pattaya Beach, at the central intersection of North Pattaya Beach and South Jomtien Beach, less than a 5-minute walk from the Bali Hai Pier, which leads to Coral Island.
It spans about 600 meters along a wide road, with bars lining both sides.
The atmosphere is characterized by women dressed in provocative attire, engaging in solicitation on the streets.

Suitability for Family Travel

It’s surprising to see couples holding hands or families with young children passing through Walking Street occasionally.
However, from the perspective of parents with children, it’s definately not a suitable place to bring kids.

The atmosphere is not conducive for children, with Thai women in revealing outfits soliciting tourists by touching them provocatively.

Some establishments even feature women dancing in transparent booths, wearing only lingerie or occasionally even topless, further contributing to the unsuitable environment for families.
Indeed, bringing a partner here wouldn’t align with Eastern sensibilities.

The questions like “Are you insane to bring your girlfriend or wife here?” or “Are you also one of these men indulging in insanity?” would likely arise, so it’s advisable for both families and couples to avoid this place altogether.
However, in Western cultures, it’s not uncommon to see couples visiting Walking Street together, which might be attributed to differing values among individuals.

backgrounds of Pattaya Walking Street workers

Thailand, having relatively large Territory in Asia, accommodates over 70 million people, with the majority engaged in agriculture, which mostly yields little incomes.
Consequently, Thailand boasts an unbelievably low unemployment rate of 1%. Did you know that?

For many children growing up in rural villages, the dream is to move to big cities for better opportunities and career success.
Those who haven’t received a good education in rural areas find it challenging to find job in the bangkok city, consequently, they’re often lured to places like Pattaya’s bars by rumors of being able to earn a lot of money quickly.

Newcomers typically start by soliciting in small pubs near downtown Pattaya, earning tips and even selling themselves.
As they gain experience, they may move on to work in the glamorous Agogo or famous Bar establishments along Pattaya Walking Street.

Average incomes a day

While some women may come out of curiosity or to earn quick money for tuition or pocket money, most get trapped in this lifestyle and find it difficult to escape.
On a lucky day, they can earn tips of $100-150, and popular young women can receive calls almost daily, earning up to $3000 a month even if they work only half the month.

Considering that the starting salary for a college-educated office job in Thailand is around $600, a monthly income of $3000 presents a significant temptation.

Personal Opinion

As someone who loves Thailand dearly, I hope to see the country reduce its income inequality and move towards a society that doesn’t rely on such entertainment culture.
